Trying to provide access to cruise books and other pictures to spur pleasant (hopefully) memories and encourage interaction.

 

There was a ships reunion June 21st 2025 at NTC Park San Diego. Now to be held every two years. There is a Facebook group for Chandler. As always the food from Big Dev was delicious, and it was good to see some shipmates.

 

Information from Michael Sweeney: Harbor Island and Todd Shipyards were placed on the National Priorities List as significant sources of pollution five years before the ship arrived (in 1989). This resulted in the island and Shipyard locations being given Superfund Cleanup status. Michael's goal is to build a resource for anyone chasing the origins of a disease, including mesothelioma, for VA purposes.
